GTA 6 on PS4 and Xbox One: is it possible?
It's one of the most asked questions. The answer is simple: no. Here's why, and what your options are.
The official answer
Rockstar announced GTA 6 only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There's no PS4 or Xbox One version, and nothing suggests there will be.
Why not older consoles
The game is built for current consoles: a hugely detailed open world, fast SSD loading, and around 210 GB on PS5. Older hardware couldn't keep up.
What about PC?
Not at launch. A PC version is expected later, with rumors pointing to early 2027.
Your options
Upgrade to a PS5 or Xbox Series to play on November 19. The Xbox Series S is the cheapest option, and a standard PS5 is plenty.
Or wait for the PC version if you already have a strong computer.
