GTA 6 Online release date: when is multiplayer coming?

Based on available information, GTA 6 will launch as a single-player game on November 19. The new online mode would follow later.
The Twitch CEO's hint
In a Bloomberg report, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy mentioned the multiplayer arriving the year after launch, meaning 2027. Back in 2025, another Twitch executive already talked about a two-step launch.
Rockstar hasn't confirmed anything. No date, not even a month, is official.
Why the gap?
Rockstar has done this before: GTA Online arrived about two weeks after GTA V, and Red Dead Online about a month after Red Dead Redemption 2. Launching single-player first helps stabilize the servers.
